Psyllium husk is the outer covering of the psyllium seeds after they are harvested and dried. It comes in the form of soluble fiber flakes or powder when ground up. Psyllium has very little flavor or aroma of its own when consumed. It is off-white to pale brown in color when ground into a powder.
